Our first Employment Law Workshop was so successful and well-attended, we decided to follow through with a part two!
The GGCC, in cooperation with its Non-Profit Group, has invited Marc Engel,an employment attorney at Lerch, Early & Brewer, Chartered, to discuss Employment Law with ALL GGCC Members, so you can understand and comply with the following laws.
What Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce member employers need to know about. . . . .
This workshop is specifically designed to help small and medium sized businesses and non-profit employers understand and comply with these laws. Marc has litigated and mediated employment and business matters for a wide array of business and organization clients. A major focus of his practice is devoted to providing advice to employers of all size on a variety of employment issues and litigation avoidance strategies. Marc prides himself on anticipating his clients’ challenges and closely monitors the latest legal, regulatory, and judicial developments. He is a sought-after speaker on employment matters and litigation avoidance practices. This workshop is for business owners and supervisors, as well as non-profit directors and managers, who are responsible for their organizations’ hiring and employee management practices, and also for advisors of for-profit and not for profit organizations.

The GGCC will honor local heroes from Public Safety personnel of the Upcounty for their courageous, life-saving actions at the 21st Annual Public Safety Awards Breakfast.
