Non-Profit Workshop: Changes to the 990
Join the Chamber's Non-Profit Group for a workshop on the "Changes to the 990 and new IRS-Required Overhead Calculations ".
The huge growth in the nonprofit sector in recent years has influenced Congress and the IRS to greatly modify the reporting requirements for nonprofit organizations. Government has determined that the new Form 990 series of tax forms is the strongest method to communicate to all sectors of society what is transpiring in aggregate and specific accomplishments of respective organizations. Come and discover the requirements, how these adjustments will affect your return, how to follow properly and more. It’s also a great opportunity to share success stories and reconnect with your fellow non-profit partners.

National Small Business Week
Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.
As part of National Small Business Week, the U.S. Small Business Administration & the GGCC takes the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from all 50 states and U.S. territories. Every day, they’re working to grow small businesses, create 21st century jobs, drive innovation, and increase America’s global competitiveness.
