Public Safety Awards
The GGCC will honor local heroes from Public Safety personnel of the Upcounty for their courageous, life-saving actions at the 23rd Annual Public Safety Awards Breakfast.
We invite you to this time-honored tradition as we recognize the heroic deeds of our local law enforcement and fire-rescue workers at our Annual Public Safety Awards Breakfast on Friday, July 13 at 7:30am at the Montgomery County Agricultural Center, Inc., 16 Chestnut Street, Gaithersburg.

At Code Ninjas - Kids have fun building video games while learning to code. Their curriculum is structured on a martial arts theme, so kids begin at white belt learning basics of program coding, and progress through various levels of belts to reach black belt, where they have to develop a full-scale app and price it, market it and publish it in the App store. Come & discover them!

Ribbon Cutting: C.A.S.E. Training
You're invited to the Ribbon Cutting Celebration of C.A.S.E. Training.
Three business-owner members of the Gaithersburg Germantown Chamber of Commerce, who met each other at various networking and membership events, have formed a new business partnership called “C.A.S.E. Training”.
C.A.S.E. stands for Confident, Aware, Safe and Empowered. The new partnership is made up of: Ron David, Owner of I.C.E. Firearms & Defensive Training; Sonja Der, owner of Bridge Performance Coaching; and, Kari Primozic, owner of Courageous Living Coaching.
Their purpose is to provide people, with the right training, so they will be empowered, minimizing the risk of becoming a victim, regardless where they are or what they are doing. The trio have created interactive workshops focusing on both parents and children. These workshops will provide the skills and information necessary to successfully navigate any situation they may encounter.
Cutting will occur at 1:15 pm. Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!
