Join the Centered Self community for an afternoon of relaxation! Participants will engage in gentle mindful movement, guided meditation, and a soothing sound bath experience. In this session, your guide will play beautifully tuned crystal quartz singing bowls, chimes, drums, gongs and other instruments to facilitate more relaxed healing states. 

Come as you are and participate as you are able. No specific experience is required to benefit from this restorative space!

What to bring: yoga mat, water, journal.

The Olymoic flame is out but the tastes of Paris are still right here in Germantown!   

Treat your kids or grandkids to a Parisian meal at Laperaux before they head back to school.

Now thru the end of August, for each adult entree purchased, kids under 10 eat free and 10-18 dine at 1/2 price.

We are open 12-11PM Tuesday -Saturday with live piano in the dining room Thurs-Sat (6-9PM)

Business Networking After5 is just one of the monthly networking events provided by the Chamber. DJ Bri Mafia is a DJ, Entrepreneur and Curator who is dedicated to providing platforms for the local music scene in the DMV and Baltimore. Bri Mafia is an underground DJ of 9 years. She's the official DJ for Cypher Clique, hailing from her hometown of Dover.

DJ SOYO Progress is most often accomplished by group effort, so Soyo regularly allies herself with comrades who help her fight for social justice and community improvement. She has been involved with a range of organizations, including the Lyricist Lounge, Temple of Hip Hop, Hip Hop Caucus, and TruSkool (where she began her DJ career). Additionally, she was a founding member of the DC Hip Hop Alliance. Soyo is also a member of Hip-Hop Sisters, legendary recording artist MC Lyte’s group of female hip-hop practitioners.  Finally, Soyo Deejed part of DC Slam (shown on HBO), a poetry event that allows District youth to express creatively instead of through violence
