Join us in a special ribbon cutting ceremony for Ela Mesa Taste of Greece at the Spectrum Town Center in Gaithersburg!
Ela Mesa opened its doors nearly one year ago in Gaithersburg offering Greek dishes, such as pastitsio, thalassina, moussaka, and chicken kebab.
Owners Georgios Papaevangelou and Ioannis Karageorgos have more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. They are inspired by the Greek philosophy of Philoxenia to "aim to extend the warmth of our home to the hearts of our guests."

Non-Profit Direct Connect
The Nonprofit Direct Connect Group is coming back for 2023! Facilitated by Paula Ross, this group will explore professional development and strategic planning topics specifically of interest to our GGCC Nonprofit members! The group will meet with 2nd Monday each month (time might vary by month), on zoom for now.
In April (4/10 at 9am), we will discuss barriers nonprofits face to effective marketing/advertising, and strategies and best practices for effective marketing campaigns, including the use of your Form 990 as a marketing tool. (Thank you, SnyderCohn for offering this insight.) The group will select the following months' topics as well.
Direct Connect groups are member-led affinity groups that strategically connect smaller groups of GGCC members. More information here.

Laperaux is a brand new high casual restaurant that just opened its doors in February of 2023 and is cooking to provide the best 'from scratch' French dishes served in a friendly, welcoming service style to the local community. Join us in celebrating the grand opening of Tehrani Law, LLC on April 24 at 11 a.m.! The law firm is kindly providing small bites from a local restaurant during the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Tehrani Law is a new GGCC member that specializes in personal injury law owned by Attorney Virginia Tehrani. She has more than 17 years of experience. Tehrani Law first opened its doors on January 1, 2023.
They specialize on plaintiff's accident injury law. They represent victims of traffic accidents, including car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, and pedestrian accidents in Maryland and Northern Virginia.

This interactive event will be facilitated by Paula Ross, GGCC CEO, and Pascale Brady, The Challenge Coach. Pascale is a life and business coach, consultant, trainer, and speaker with 30 years of professional experience, both in the corporate world, and as an entrepreneur. Attendees will learn about motivation and resiliency with Pascale, and then hear from GGCC member panelists with their own case studies of finding motivation after rejection. Expect a fun, engaging 90 minutes where professionals at all career levels can learn something new about themselves and about how to stay motivated!

Poolesville Area Chamber Invitation to Network
