Free for all GGCC members. This month's FYI Series is a great reminder for some, and first time lesson for many on the importance of fire safety.  Daniel Stanton from D&C Fire Protection will be presenting! After years of servicing the fire protection industry, they have noticed that fire safety is often forgotten and left to chance. In fact, many people aren't able to locate the closest fire extinguisher at home or at their workplace. Sadly, it usually takes an emergency to make fire safety an issue of importance. This has to change! And it starts with learning all we can about how to keep our homes and offices safe. 

Please register early so we can provide an accurate headcount!

This is a brown-bag lunch. Please bring a lunch from a nearby chamber member restaurant!

April Business Networking B49 Mixer: Networking & Chamber Bake-Off Contest!

JK Moving Services is a local, long distance 48 states, moving company with over 300,000 square feet of household, office, & record storage. We will be meeting at their new location. This Business Networking B49 is two-fold, it's networking for work & networking for good. The Chamber of Commerce will host a friendly, fun, & tasty baking for good competition. We are looking for your best and most delicious baked muffins, cupcakes, or other baked treats! Please bring at least a dozen of your prized baked goodies to serve (and compete!) and a dozen or more packaged for GGCC staff to deliver to our public safety personnel after the event - a small token of how much we appreciate their work in our community.

There are Two Ways to Attend:

1. Non-Baker. Please feel free to attend this morning mixer simply for the networking opportunities!

2. Baker. Here is how you can participate in the Bake-off.

• Pledge to share your homemade baked goods with Chamber Members, the celebrity judges, and members of our community
• Register as a baker. Advance registration is required.
• Find your favorite muffin or cupcake recipe - or bring a savory baked treat!
• Whip up your winning "dozen" to bring. Please also bring a list of ingredients to be displayed next to your goodies (in case of allergens). 
• Please bring at least a dozen of your prized baked goodies to serve (and compete!) and a dozen or more packaged for GGCC staff to deliver to our public safety personnel after the event.
• The morning of the contest, you'll be asked to select your best baked good to be judged by the judging panel and to place this on a separate plate. 

• Make sure you have your goodies at the Chamber Breakfast Mixer for judging on April 25 by 7:20 AM before everyone arrives!

Winner receives bragging rights and a special prize.  ;)
