Facilitated by Denise Fredericks (Mercy Health Clinic) and Deborah Zimmer (Universities at Shady Grove), this group will explore professional development and strategic planning topics specifically of interest to our GGCC Nonprofit members, as well as highlight one of our members each month! The group will meet with 2nd Monday each month (time might vary by month), on zoom for now.

June program:

Rebekah Taravella, USG Mentorship Program Manager and SHRM-certified HR professional, will present our Summer Session Q&A on in-house human resources processes such as being a better manager, the value of performance evaluations, and why you should not ghost candidates.                  

Rebekah is a champion for effective recruiting and the importance of facilitating next generation career journeys. She has a Master's degree in Teaching, and has worked in HR administration, managed corporate work study programs, and is designing and implementing a mentorship program at USG.
