The Gaithersburg Parks, Arts and Recreation Corporation (G-PARC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that engages public & private partnerships, promotes awareness, and raises resources to support new & matured parks, arts & recreation initiatives in Gaithersburg. G-PARC is powered by volunteers and public/private partnerships to give the City’s arts, culture, parks, and recreation programs a “boost,” much like a high school booster club extends resources for school programs.G-PARC is organized around its three areas of focus, or Alliances, arts and culture, parks, and recreation – and takes its cue from the City’s Master Plan and City staff liaisons to determine what projects and programs it might help support. The Alliances partner with like-minded community and “Friends” groups to offer volunteer opportunities, fundraise for specific efforts and work to enhance the quality of life for all who live, work, and play in Gaithersburg. All G-PARC programs are open to area residents. Come out and join us at one or more upcoming events!
